The ingredients of Synergy Fuel

Esso Synergy™ fuel technology for petrol engines is carefully formulated by our experts to combine the benefits of 8 key ingredients.

  • Fuel detergent 1&2 - Provide outstanding cleanliness in port fuel injection engines, and now in gasoline direct injection engines. Cleaner engine parts can lead to better fuel mileage, engine protection and engine performance.

  • Fuel Detergent 3 - Our newest detergent boosts cleaning performance in direct injection cars.

  • Friction Modifier - Reduces friction and in Synergy Supreme+™ helps reduce wear and tear

  • Corrosion Inhibitor - Helps prevent rust in fuel distribution systems and or key engine parts the fuel comes into contact with.

  • Demulsifier - Helps prevent accumulation of water in your fuel tank by allowing it to be separated and removed.

  • Solvent Fluid - Enables the additive ingredients to stay mixed, flow and not freeze at very cold temperatures.

  • Esso Marker - Helps determine if the correct amount of our unique additive is added to our fuel.
